WHAT MORE DO THEY NEED?

MORE DO THEY NEED?            Friday April 10, 2015

Text: Numbers 14:11 – 19             Memory verse: v 11

It is disgusting when you make every effort as a parent; providing all your child needs to become responsible and that child refuses to change. You don’t need to spill your blood again to make him responsible. If all the provisions you have made is not enough, then it will be concluded that there is no way out for him. Fluctuating between opinions was a major problem of the Israelites while in the wilderness. They were never satisfied with what God did for them. They were even demanding for things that are not possible in the wilderness. This led to the statement in 14:11.

Daily, Christ pours His grace into our lives which we should be grateful for. There are many who keep complaining and never seem to be grateful for anything. What else do they need? Being alive is the grace of God. We have to be contented. There is a Christian art of enduring pain which we should seek to learn. Christians should endure sufferings which they pass through and should bear them bravely and patiently, even rejoicing.

Food for Thought: “Constant complaint is the poorest sort of pay for all the comforts we enjoy” – Franklin

Prayer: Lord, teach me to be content in whatever situation that faces me.
