BE PREPARED Wednesday

Text: Matthew 24:36 – 42 Memory verse: v 42
We
ended yesterday’s reading with the question of how prepared are we for the
second coming of Christ. Here is admonition to prepare. The Second Coming will
happen so suddenly that in the blink of an eye, one of those people may be
taken and the other left. The reason is this? One was ready and one was not.
Believers must be on guard and alert, constantly ready for him to come at any
time. Christ’s second coming will be swift and sudden. There will be no time
for last-minute repenting or bargaining. The choice that people have already
made will determine their eternal destiny.
Beloved,
now is the time to prepare. Have you made the right choice? You must be
prepared now or it may be too late. Preparation here demands that you should
watch and pray. Watching involves understanding of the time we are in so that
when the signs Jesus gave start manifesting, we will know. How prepared are
you?
Action: Write down what you can do to prepare yourself for
His coming again.
Prayer: Grant me the grace to prepare myself O Lord, before
time.
