Out of Bound: Devotion for Monday February 24, 2020

MY DAILY COVENANT WITH GOD DEVOTIONAL
Devotion for Monday February 24, 2020
Topic: Out of Bound
Text: Psalm 121: 7 – 8
By the token of the New Covenant we have with God, genuine Christians carries about an emblem with the decree “Touch Not Mine Anointed” and “Do My Prophets No Harm.” If Christians have the full knowledge of the provisions we have in the New Covenant with God they serve, all their duty in life would be to serve God sincerely.
Family Bible Notes posited that “the righteous have an Almighty Friend and Keeper ever present to help them in trouble; support them in temptation, guide them in perplexity and defend them from all injury.” This is the truth about our heritage in Christ Jesus; a friend like no other.
Do you know that it is the will of God is to protect you? This is the reason He announced His Redemption Plan for humanity immediately after the fall of Adam. If He was not will to protect us, He would have left us at the mercy of the devil if at all devil have any atom of mercy. When God grant us His protection, we are safe even in the midst of greatest dangers. This kind of protection is peculiar to the righteous and those who are beneficiaries carry the tag, “Touch Not Mine Anointed.”
Beloved, have you entered into a New Covenant with God? If you have not done so, do it now so as to benefit from God’s Covenant of protection against harm and evil.
Food for Thought: “Are you under God’s decree of Touch Not Mine Anointed?”
Memory verse: Psalm 145:20
Prayer: God, watch over my life and my family and preserve us from all evil in Jesus name.
