YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN

YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN        Tuesday June 2, 2015

Text: Isaiah 44:21 – 22                Memory verse: v 21

God, men and women will not forget you. You will be remembered for good this month and beyond in Jesus name. At times we ask if God still cares about us especially when we come to bump, bend or pot holes on our journey which will certainly slow us down. At such times, many question the credibility of God’s love, care and faithfulness thinking He has forgotten them. This was the situation among Israelites which made them to query God’s promises for them because they were in exile. It was their lust for idol worship that made God to turn His back against them. He reminded them how He had taken care of their forefathers.

Beloved, God called you by your name. He has inscribed you on the palms of His hands and your face is continually before Him (Isaiah 49:16). Therefore, He cannot forget you. Though you might have sinned but He is willing to accept you again because He still remembers you. However, if you have sinned against God, why not repent and come back to Him. Have men forgotten you? Know that God has not.    

Food for Thought: When we begin to remember God he will begin to remember us

Prayer: Lord, you are the only one that cannot forget your own. Grant that even when men turn their back against me, you will not reject me.
