SHOW ME MY WRONG Wednesday June 10, 2015
Text: Job 10:1 – 7 Memory verse: v 2
Job
objects that a basic right of his has been violated by God. He didn’t know the
accusation against him. God’s silence is unacceptable given the judgment and
distress of Job’s experience. Many a times we Christian get so confused, as to
querying God why He allows this or that to happen to us. We should know that
God is not unmindful of our uprightness. The challenges you may be facing today
may not necessarily be because of your sin, rather it may be because of your
determination to stay right no matter the odd, just know today that He who
called you does not sleep nor slumber (Psalm 121:1 – 8). The Lord shall
preserve you in such a way that even though the challenge is so fierce, you
will not be moved and you will triumph at the end.
All
that is required from us when we are faced with such difficulty is to cry to
God as Job did and ask him to direct us on the best road to follow. Do not give
up in the days of your adversity. Don’t give in to deceptions of the devil in
times of trial; don’t curse because of the wickedness you see around, rather go
to God and tell him about the problem just as you feel, because He has a better
plan at the end of every travail (Job 42:7 – 17). He will surely tell you.
Food for thought: Do not give up in the days of your adversity.
Prayer: Keep me through this race Oh Lord that I may not stray
from you no matter the odd.
